Dawn, Kate and Charles have a combined 50 years of experience in political consulting, strategic communication, public relations, web and social media development, graphic design, grant writing and fundraising. They have worked for a wide variety of government organizations, non-profits, startups, and local and national campaigns - each time contributing their expertise to design, strengthen and amplify their client’s power to reach more people and effect meaningful change. They started Agave Strategy with a simple goal in mind: Help the groups doing amazing things where they need it most. Because you know your mission, and we know how to amplify it.

Dr. Dawn Penich

Founder

Dawn began her career in Strategic Communication with the U.S. Army and has since led on dozens of successful political campaigns across Arizona. She has been featured for her political expertise in the New York Times, Ms. Magazine, Washington Post, NPR and numerous local, national and international outlets. She was recognized as a Breakout, Best PR Person and Political Rising Star by Arizona Capitol Times and was awarded the Phoenix Business Journal’s “40 under 40” distinction. Her passion is helping good people do good things.

Kate Tice

Founder

After studying education, Kate became involved in digital communication. She honed her skillset working on social media strategy, website design and digital marketing for local, grassroots and statewide political organizations and candidates, including graphic creation, metrics analysis, texting programs, and both voiceover and video work. Kate is an avid learner and believes that to successfully support the work of others, careful listening and depth of understanding are prerequisites.

Charles Siler

Founder

Charles began his career with the U.S. Army as a public affairs specialist in international crisis communications. Charles has successfully led fundraising projects and donor relations to the tune of $2.2 million annually, a 341% increase for one organization. As a former lobbyist, his work shaped education, healthcare, and social welfare policies across the country. Today Charles is an anti-racist, pro-equity, and pro-public education consultant, using his experience in conservative politics to advise groups resisting the destruction of public institutions.
